Wendy Hernandez-Gamillo, a compassionate advocate and visionary leader dedicated to empowering underserved communities. With a background as a former case manager, Wendy has firsthand experience navigating the challenges faced by families in under-resourced and under-educated environments. Witnessing the limitations of state social service programs, she recognized the need for a holistic approach to addressing systemic issues. Thus, Plant a Seed was born from her vision of providing access to opportunities, resources, and solutions for Latinx and underserved communities in El Paso. Through Plant a Seed, Wendy endeavors to remove obstacles hindering the success of families and individuals, fostering growth and prosperity for all.
